MARELLA
FLAGSHIP STORE
MILAN
Marella Lighting concept was developed upon the launch of their Flagship store in the very center of Milan under the Vittorio Emanuelle Gallery arches.
This young brand’s store had to deliver this fresh breath translated in finishings, heights, colours and of course, the lighting project had to follow.
Marella boutique designed by CLS Architetti is articulated in 3 levels and as the concept intended, all the products unravel in different so-called rooms, like in a youngster’s apartment, separated with lightweight curtains or with full-height millwork.
The Marella lighting project, followed the effort to create different atmospheres in each room to deliver the domestic nuance.
Another feature apart from the light integrated in the millwork for enhancing the garments and accessories in the various shelves, a linear sign of light under the hanging millwork completes the concepr of setting limits between the various rooms.
For providing adequate illuminance levels in the Marella Boutique but also with the proper high colour rendering, the selection of lighting fixtures included carefully selected LEDs and metal halide ceiling downlghts.
Several other stores opening followed, both in Italy and worldwide. This contributed in the creation of a Lighting Concept that set several parameters for implementing the lighting concept in different situations, while maintaining the brand’s identity.
