HIGH FASHION
BOUTIQUE
LONDON
The high fashion Brand with its creative director, Sarah Burton, decided to work with the famous architect Smiljan Radic to develop the new concept of interior design for the Brand and a new lighting concept was necessary.
Their work started with the renovation of London store in Old Bond street, which is one of the most important and symbolic flagships of this Maison.
The new concept is inspired by natural and organic elements, with strong reference to special and distant atmospheres. Materials, details and textures have an intense visual impact and attract clients’ attention along this immersive journey inside the Boutique.
Continuity plays an important role in the new design concept, so floors, walls and ceilings are all cladded in continuous light oak and dark walnut wood or cotton-crete panels.
The lighting concept was developed to adapt to this extraordinary space. The goal was to properly enhance both: merchandise and main architectural elements while creating a generally comfortable and soft mood.
Lighting fixtures with high performance were designed to guarantee the required light effect and the proper emphasis to peculiarities of the brand’s clothes.
The new concept adopted in the London Store has been then rolled out in their stores around the world, adjusting to specific local conditions of each store individually.
