After the 2014 Flexform Stand, the brand asked again for the collaboration of ACPV ARCHITECTS with Metis Lighting for their new Stand.

This time, the design scenario included a more industrial style with a ceiling of dark metal rods and an elegant central sculpture. The atmosphere is complemented with the brand’s furniture and ethereal hanging textiles that outline the various ‘’rooms’’ throughout the stand space.

For introducing light accents around the various features, electrified tracks with adjustable projectors were integrated inside the ceiling structure.

Large circular coves with ceiling recessed shielded downlights provide general lighting for balancing the contrast. However, the tight light beams of the downlights creating and uneven and dramatic atmosphere, accentuating the idea of home, rather than a homogeneous exhibition space.

Right in the centre of the Stand, a green core made of plants and trees is shed with light concealed in the perimeter of the overhanging ceiling opening.

An interplay of light accents, shadows and textures composed a space leaning more towards a domestic place to stay, rather than an exhibition area to pass through.
